National projects

The project is intended for the practical training of students at the University of Nova Gorica in a work environment in the 2025/2026 academic year, partially co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+).

Use of Augmented Reality (AR) to improve communication between farmers and agricultural advisors and farmers' access to educational content

The project addresses the early stages of quantum computing adoption in companies. It develops a new theoretical framework for understanding the factors driving the adoption of disruptive digital technologies in innovation ecosystems and lays the groundwork for policy recommendations and strategic empowerment of organizations.

The project focuses on the development of a powerful solver for binary quadratic optimisation problems with quadratic bounds (QBO), running on state-of-the-art supercomputing and quantum infrastructure.

On 22 December 2023, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation published a Call for Proposals to support the activities of Knowledge Transfer Offices (KTOs) in the framework of an operation co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

The main objective of the research is: to develop a reliable tool condition monitoring (TCM) system based on thermographic images of cutting tools using deep learning methods.

The programme aims to sustain industrial production in Slovenia and the EU, involving research organisations and industrial partners supporting research with their own resources.
