On 16 November 2024, the We-Gil Cultural Centre in Rome hosted an event organised by Architecture and Human Rights in Teatroinscatola. Among the distinguished speakers was our colleague, Associate Professor Dr Vesna Pungerčar from the Centre for Digitisation.
In her opening lecture, Associate Professor Dr Vesna Pungerčar presented the research work carried out by Rudolfovo and the Technical University of Munich and highlighted the importance of the development of new environmentally friendly materials in relation to digitisation.
Distinguished experts such as Ciro Pirondi (Director of the Escola da Cidade in São Paulo, Brazil), Wesam Asali (Professor at Princeton University), Chow Chol (Professor in South Korea and Director of the Seoul Biennale), Eleonora Carrano (Architecture Critic, University "La Sapienza" in Rome) and Jorge Lobos (recipient of the Global Award for Sustainable Architecture) shared their views on the future of architecture and the development of materials.
The lecture was followed by the opening of the exhibition, which was on show from 14 to 21 November at the We-Gil Cultural Centre in Trastevere, where visitors could learn more about innovations and research in the field of sustainable architecture.
