Research equipment at Rudolfovo – Science and Technology Centre Novo mesto, the purchase of which was funded or co-funded by the Slovenian Research and Innovation Agency (ARIS), is also available to external users under the conditions specified for each piece of equipment. Use of the equipment requires advance written notification to the person responsible for the equipment. The timing and arrangements for use are determined based on equipment availability, the complexity of the planned work, the user’s qualifications, and technical, staffing and safety requirements. Where necessary due to operational complexity, safety considerations or the need to ensure the quality of results, the equipment must be used in the presence of a qualified Rudolfovo operator. Fees apply to equipment use. The price is determined in accordance with Rudolfovo’s current price list, taking into account the extent of use, materials consumed, the complexity of the work and any operator assistance. Before use, a contract or written agreement may be concluded with the user to specify the arrangements for use, costs, liability, data handling, protection of confidential information and intellectual property rights.
