Description of work and tasks:
checking and posting of invoices received,
linking invoices received to claims,
carrying out payment transactions (transfers and payments),
invoicing and payment recovery,
VAT clearance,
preparation of payroll,
document retrieval and data posting,
accounts, payments and posting (salaries, allowances, salary slips, travel orders, allowances and other payments)
issuing reimbursements to the Social Insurance Institution (ZZZS),
mandatory reporting to FURS, AJPES and other public bodies,
compilation of documents for KIDO forms and application for KIDO forms to FURS,
calculation and monitoring of employee leave,
entering and editing databases in the accounting software,
preparing analyses and reports for the management and bodies of the public institution,
ongoing monitoring of legislation in the field of public sector accounting and up-to-date incorporation of innovations into internal processes,
training and continuous process improvement,
assisting in the preparation of the financial plan, the rebalancing and the annual accounting report,
other accounting and financial tasks as assigned by superiors.

1st cycle higher education, professional higher education (previous), etc.; Economics
Work experience: Not required
Language skills:
English: understanding very good, speaking very good, writing very good
Computer skills:
Word processors - basic
working with spreadsheets - basic
working with databases - basic
Other
Preferred area of expertise: Accounting and finance. Comparable work experience in public sector positions. Knowledge of computerised payroll software. Very good knowledge of MS Office software tools, (Word, PowerPoint ) and especially Excel. Knowledge of at least one world language (English, German,... ). Accuracy, proactivity and ability to work as part of a team. Experience in public sector accounting and payroll, knowledge of Pantheon and a long-term desire to work in this field are an advantage.
