Dr. Hanuma Reddy Tiyyagura

I am Dr Hanuma Reddy Tiyyagura, specialising in the design and development of biodegradable magnesium (Mg) and zinc (Zn) alloys using innovative methods such as casting and selective laser melting. 

My work also includes creating biopolymer coatings using advanced techniques such as dipping and electric spinning, and conducting degradation and corrosion experiments on coated and uncoated materials in simulated body fluids. At the same time, I assess the mechanical properties of these materials to ensure their suitability for biomedical applications. 

I work closely with industrial partners to facilitate the efficient translation of research results into practical applications in the biomedical field.
