Centre for Applied Quantum Computing
At the Centre, we engage in applied quantum computing and explore the potential of quantum technologies for solving challenging problems. We develop and test algorithms on various types of quantum computers, including quantum annealers (e.g., D-Wave), NISQ, and quantum emulators such as Pasqal and IBM Qiskit. We also develop hybrid algorithms that distribute tasks between supercomputers and quantum computers according to their suitability.
We participate in national and international projects. We lead the ARIS project QBIQ and participate in the European Centre of Excellence for Quantum Applications QEC4QEA, and we are also involved in the preparation of new ARIS projects and projects for Horizon Europe calls.
The group consists of experienced researchers and young talents who together build knowledge, publish scientific articles, and strengthen competencies in the field of quantum computing.
