Centre for Digitalisation

The Centre for Digitalisation carries out research and development work in 3D technologies, digital twins, supercomputing and quantum computing. With advanced 3D scanners and CT scanners, we convert products into point clouds, look for hidden defects in the point clouds and check whether the measured geometry and structure of the products comply with the plans and standards. We do this using the most advanced software, complemented by our own AIbased solutions.

We also create digital twins of the scanned products, prepare missing documentation for them and clone them if necessary, using 3D printing.

The associated computational problems are often highly data- and compute-intensive, therefore we use cutting edge data technologies and supercomputers for such computational tasks, while also stepping into the world of applied quantum computing, which has the potential to solve selected computational problems much faster than classical computers or supercomputers.
