{Rudolfovo – Science and Technology Centre Novo mesto invites you to attend a scientific seminar entitled "Protein structure prediction via AI," which will be presented by Doc. Dr. Boštjan Gabrovšek.

Abstract:

»Protein knots and related entanglements, once thought biologically implausible, are now recognized as widespread structural motifs whose prevalence and complexity have been dramatically revealed by AlphaFold’s large-scale structural predictions. In this talk we highlight how modern artificial intelligence and topological data analysis methods are transforming the detection, classification, and biological interpretation of knotted protein structures.«
