Rudolfovo at MOS 2026: Connecting Research Expertise with Industry

Rudolfovo – Science and Technology Centre Novo mesto participated in MOS 2026, held in Celje from 16 to 20 September. As part of the Science and Economy Hub organised by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth (MIZM), we presented our research and development work and opportunities for collaboration with businesses.

The Science and Economy Hub brings together research and educational institutions and high-tech companies. It introduces visitors to the achievements of Slovenian science and examples of their practical application, while providing a space to discuss the development challenges facing industry.

Rudolfovo’s presentation covered digitalisation, artificial intelligence, robotics, applied quantum computing, sustainability and technology transfer. We introduced visitors to our research and the opportunities that collaboration with the institute offers for joint projects and the development of new technologies.

The fair provided an opportunity to engage directly with a wide range of audiences. Visitors to the Hub included secondary school and university students, researchers, young engineers and jobseekers, as well as representatives of research and educational institutions and high-tech companies. According to Janez Škrlec, Head of the Hub, this year saw particularly strong interest in artificial intelligence and its applications in industry, medicine and healthcare.
