Invitation to the seminar "Lean manufacturing as a bridge between science and the economy" by Dr. Idriz Selimović

Rudolfovo – Science and Technology Centre Novo mesto invites you to attend a scientific seminar entitled "Lean manufacturing as a bridge between science and the economy," which will be presented by Dr. Idriz Selimović, Praktischlean.

Summary:

"Lean (lean manufacturing) is a philosophy that was developed at Toyota and is now considered the global standard for efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement. Its strength lies not in individual tools (5S, kanban, VSM), but in a holistic approach that includes a long-term philosophy, people development, and a problem-solving culture. In the seminar, we will explore why the Slovenian economy needs a Lean Institute (laboratory) and how it can become a bridge between science, industry, and the future of smart factories.
