When researchers leave the laboratories: Rudolfovo 2025 team building

On Thursday, September 4, 2025, Rudolfovo employees proved that the spirit of exploration knows no bounds. At this year's gathering, we took the time to replace research hypotheses with clues to treasure and computer screens with oars, paddleboards, and basketballs.

We started the day early with a brisk and very noisy walk to the Krka River, where we boarded a raft. The new perspective of Novo Mesto—from the river—was inspiring. Dr. Luka Vidmar then presented Novo Mesto to us through historical stories. But we didn't just listen, we also tried our hand at a game of Treasure Hunt. The winning team proved that logic, cooperation, and a little bit of luck lead to treasure (and prizes!).

After lunch at Loka, we ended the day with some sports. Some proved they had good balance on the water, while others preferred to cheer from the shore.

The common denominator of it all? Laughter, good spirits, and the fact that we form a strong and cohesive team even outside the office.
