Assist. Prof. Dr. Alenka Pandiloska Jurak

I am a Senior Research Associate at Rudolfovo and an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Information Studies in Novo Mesto. At Rudolfovo, I am a member of the Management Board, Head of the Programme Committee of the Science and Technology Forum, a member of the Self-Evaluation Committee, and a whistleblower trustee.

My research is situated within the field of social sciences, with a focus on public policies, the dynamics of regional development, and the role of social and innovation networks in technological, economic, and strategic transformations within the European Union.

I actively participate in numerous international and national research and development projects. I have extensive experience as a member of project teams and in leading research projects co-funded by ARIS, the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence, and other projects funded through the Erasmus+ programme, as well as the Digital Europe and Interreg Danube Transnational programmes.

I am currently the lead of the consortium partner, work package leader, and consortium financial manager in the project SMILE Incubator – Social Media Leadership Incubator for the Danube Region (2025–2027).
