Assist. Prof. Dr. Ana Hafner

I'm Ana Hafner, a graduate in social informatics and a PhD in sociology. In the field of intellectual property, I have passed several exams at the World Intellectual Property Organisation and I am a registered trademark and industrial design attorney at the Slovenian Intellectual Property Office.

At Rudolfovo I am a head of Knowledge and Technology Transfer Office and a researcher in the field of innovation and intellectual property. Within the consortium of public research organisations implementing the KTO3 project, I am the leader of the Project Management Team (PMT) 4.1 - Intellectual Property Protection.

Since November 2024, I am also leading a targeted research project entitled Analysis of the supportive environment for effective management and exploitation of intellectual property in Slovenia, in which Rudolfovo is collaborating with the Jožef Stefan Institute.

My work combines expertise and practical experience to effectively support researchers and organisations in the protection and exploitation of intellectual property.
