Assist. Prof. Dr. Ana Hafner

I'm Ana Hafner, a graduate in social informatics and a PhD in sociology. In the field of intellectual property, I have passed several examinations with the World Intellectual Property Organisation and I am an authorised trade mark and design agent with the Slovenian Intellectual Property Office.

At Rudolfovo I research innovation and intellectual property and manage the Knowledge and Technology Transfer Office. Within the consortium of public research organisations implementing the KTO3 project, I am the leader of the Project Management Team (PMT) 4.1 - Intellectual Property Protection Procedures. 

Since November 2024, I am also leading a targeted research project entitled Analysis of the supportive environment for effective management and exploitation of intellectual property in Slovenia, in which Rudolfovo is collaborating with the Jožef Stefan Institute.

My work combines expertise and practical experience to effectively support researchers and organisations in the protection and exploitation of intellectual property.
