The Renault Group is building its metaverse. It is a virtual industrial replica of everything that happens in the factory in real time. The aim of this project is to create faster and better production while reducing the cost and carbon footprint of industrial processes.
At the same time, the Renault Group has launched an internal campaign, #PassionIndustry, which includes the Industrial Metaverse exhibition, to show employees its vision for the digital transformation of the Renault Group's industry.
The exhibition, which premiered at Flens, is now moving to Renault factories.
The Industrial Metaverse exhibition will be launched at Revoz on 24 May.
The exhibition will showcase 4 areas - data (big data = collection and processing of large amounts of data), connected manufacturing (DWS, CHUET ...), connected supply chain (truck tracking ...) and energy efficiency (energy control room ...).
The aim of the exhibition is to inform employees about the upcoming innovations of Industry 4.0 and the various digital technologies already in use in individual factories. The exhibition will also offer the opportunity to try out some of the latest digital tools, such as virtual goggles.
JRZ {Rudolfovo is showcasing the use of mixed, augmented and virtual reality technology, as well as the possibilities of training with haptic gloves.
The exhibition is aimed at Revoz employees and is part of a larger internal Renault Group campaign.
