The First Rudolfovo Open Day

On Tuesday, 23 September 2025, Rudolfovo – Science and Technology Centre Novo mesto opened the doors of its research laboratories, bringing science closer to the public in practice. The event was part of Science Month and attracted a wide range of visitors – from school groups to individuals interested in modern technology and research work.

Visitors had the opportunity to tour our laboratories in two sessions – morning and afternoon:

• Laboratory for Factories of the Future

• Laboratory for Extended Reality

• Laboratory for 3D Technologies

  
  

Each group could participate in interactive demonstrations, meet researchers, and see firsthand how knowledge is transferred from classrooms into practice. The demonstrations of extended reality and applications of 3D technologies were particularly popular, giving visitors a glimpse into the future of industry and everyday life.

The Open Day confirmed our mission – to bring science closer to people, inspire curiosity, and connect research work with industry, education, and the broader community.
