Last week,researchers from the {Rudolfovo - Science and Technology Centre Novo mesto presented their achievements at the GREMO development project conference, where the latest innovations for the Slovenian automotive industry in 2023 and future development strategies were demonstrated.
Established in 2021 with a pledge of €200 million in state support over five years, GREMO has so far received €10 million. Despite minor challenges in achieving the plans, Hidria Holding's CEO and project coordinator, Iztok Seljak, expressed optimism about the progress achieved.
Prime Minister Robert Golob confirmed the Government's continued support for the project, underlined the importance of cooperation and highlighted the key achievements of the Slovenian automotive industry in implementing new trends in their products.
This is one of the excellent examples of cooperation between business, science and the education sector in Slovenia. Companies such as Kolektor, Hidria, TAB, SIJ Acroni, Iskra Mehanizmi, Mahle EDS, LTH Castings, Talum, Domel, TPV AUTOMOTIVE and others have joined forces in the GREMO project, where they are working towards innovative transformation and synergies in the automotive industry.
