Rudolfovo participated in laser scanning of historical frescoes in Istria

Rudolfovo – Science and Technology Centre Novo mesto, in cooperation with two renowned Croatian institutions, the Ruđer Bošković Institute and the Croatian Conservation Institute, participated in the laser scanning of historical frescoes in the Church of St. Vincent in Svetvinčenet (Croatia).

We contributed specialized expertise and advanced technology for 3D scanning, which enables highly accurate digital documentation of cultural heritage. Such interdisciplinary cooperation confirms how science, research, and technology can make an important contribution to the preservation and research of cultural heritage.

Participation in this project represents another important step in Rudolfovo international integration in the field of digitization, cultural heritage preservation, and the development of innovative technological solutions for social challenges.
