Visit by the management of the University of Maribor and the Municipality of Novo mesto to Rudolfovo

On Wednesday, June 18, 2025, we hosted high-ranking representatives of the University of Maribor and the Municipality of Novo Mesto at Rudolfovo – Science and Technology Center Novo Mesto.

The visit was attended by Prof. Dr. Zdravko Kačič, Rector of the University of Maribor, Doc. Dr. Maja Modic, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Dean Korošak, Vice-Rector for Scientific Research, and Gregor Macedoni, Mayor of the Municipality of Novo mesto.

The distinguished guests were welcomed by the director of Rudolfovo, Prof. Dr. Janez Povh, who presented the mission, key activities, and strategic directions of the institute. This was followed by a discussion on opportunities for deepening cooperation in the fields of scientific research, knowledge transfer into practice, the development of study programs, and links with the local economy.

The visit was an important step towards further strengthening cooperation between higher education and research institutions and the local community, with the aim of creating an innovative environment that supports the sustainable development of the region.
