INVITATION

We cordially invite you to

the First Slovenian Quantum Computing Day,

which will take place on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

at Rudolfovo – Science and Technology Center Novo mesto, in the LabTOP room, Podbreznik 15, 8000 Novo mesto.

The forum will present the current state of quantum computing, including the capabilities of quantum computers currently available on the market, examples of their use in science and industry, and a proposal for a Slovenian strategy for the development of quantum technologies.

The speakers will include Dr. Nicholas Chancellor (Newcastle University School of Computing), Anamarija Meglič (MVZI), Dr. Roman Kužel (Rudolfovo), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bojan Žunkovič (Rudolfovo and FRI, UL), Marjan Beltram (AtomQL), Dr. Jaka Vodeb (IJS and Nanocenter), Prof. Dr. Rok Žitko (IJS), and Dr. Matyas Koniorczyki (HUN-REN Wigner Research Centre for Physics).

The event will be an excellent opportunity to deepen professional knowledge about quantum computing at home and around the world, to network with experts, and to raise awareness of the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology, World Science Day for Peace and Development, and Slovenian Science Month.

Please confirm your attendance at the forum by registering at: https://forms.office.com/e/bP7jmGxyyS, as the number of seats in the hall is limited.

Please forward this invitation to anyone who might be interested in the content.

We look forward to seeing you there.
