Visit of the Indian Ambassador to Rudolfovo

Rudolfovo was visited by the Ambassador of the Republic of India to Slovenia, H.E. Amit Narang. The visit was part of his working visit to Novo mesto, where he was also received by the Mayor of the Municipality of Novo mesto, Gregor Macedoni.

The purpose of the visit was to strengthen mutual contacts and explore opportunities for cooperation between India and Novo mesto in the fields of economy, culture, education and science. At Rudolfovo, the Ambassador was received by the Director, Prof. Dr. Janez Povh, and the Coordinator of International Affairs, Prof. Dr. Borut Rončević. They presented the work of the institute, its research areas and Rudolfovo’s role in connecting knowledge, technologies and the economy. The discussion focused on opportunities for future cooperation in research, development, higher education and the transfer of knowledge into practice.

During the visit, the Ambassador expressed interest in establishing connections, particularly in the fields of economy, higher education and research cooperation. Such meetings are an opportunity to build new contacts and identify common topics that can connect the research environment, companies and educational institutions.
