World Intellectual Property Day – Encouraging Innovation and Creativity

Every year on 26 April, we mark World Intellectual Property Day, established by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). It is an opportunity to reflect on the importance of knowledge created through research, creativity and development, and on how this knowledge can be properly protected and transferred into use.

Intellectual property is not only important as legal protection. It is also a way of recognising the value of ideas, inventions, technological solutions and other results of work created in a research environment. When knowledge is properly protected, it has a better chance to develop further, reach users and contribute to the development of the economy and society.

At Rudolfovo, we are aware that behind every good solution there are people – researchers, development teams and colleagues who, through their knowledge, persistence and collaboration, contribute to the creation of new ideas. Care for intellectual property is therefore part of our everyday work, especially when we want to transfer research results into practice.

To date, Rudolfovo has filed several patent applications and registered one trademark. These achievements show that our environment is creating solutions with development and practical potential.

World Intellectual Property Day is an opportunity to remind ourselves how important it is to recognise, protect and support the further development of created knowledge. Above all, it is an opportunity to thank everyone whose work contributes to the creation of new solutions.
